Postpartum: Life after Baby

Transitioning into parenthood means a lot of things like sleepless nights, hormonal mood swings, anxiety, overwhelming sense of joy, poopy diapers... the list goes on! During my six-week post- delivery can, I can assist in that transition to help guide you through this amazing new journey.

Stages of Childbirth

If this is your first baby, sorry to say but Hollywood pulled a fast one on us! Labor and delivery look different for every single woman. I am here to help educate you on some of the more common experiences birthing people will have to best prepare you for your baby's journey earthside.

Understanding FMLA, Maternity Leave, and Short Term Disability Leave

If you are eligible and your employer has a contract with The Standard, I can assist you in understanding how and when to file to make your transition into your maternity leave as smooth as possible.

Masters of Psychology

Having my degree in psychology allows me to explore the and support birthing people on a deeper level for educated level.

 Basics of Body Feeding

Having been a mother that chose to body feed, I know the hard work and dedication that comes with having a tiny human tethered to you constantly, pumping, storing breast milk, and still trying to incorporate self-care into your daily routine. I can assist in navigating the world of body feeding and if necessary, connect you with professionals (IBCLC and Pediatric Dentists) to best support your lactation goals.

Vital Records

Are you having a homebirth or a Birthing Center birth? Did you know that you have to file for your child's Birth Certificate and SSN on your own? Knowing what paperwork to submit, timeline to schedule appointments, and offices near you can save you a lot of time and headaches. I can assist you in navigating these steps to secure your child's identification.

Lactation Education

As a Lactation Education Specialist, I provide support and guidance to your specific body feeding goals. We will start with a short questionnaire to determine your knowledge and goals as it relates to body feeding, from there a plan will be created just for you and your tiny human!

Prenatal and Postpartum Herbal Support

I have completed a course on herbalism taught by a Master herbalist. I am prepared to offer herbal recipes (infusions, tinctures, balms, salves) for all birthing bodies to support your prenatal and postpartum health.

Pediatric CPR

Offering guidance what to do in the event that you experience you child choking, I am Certified in Pediatric CPR.

Let me know if you have any questions about my experience or qualifications.
